Creative Cloud, is a package that combines desktop applications, browser tools and file storage. While we wait for the official launch, the company has already offered more details on this new proposal. Everything will be around the future Creative Suite 6, offering the possibility of installing the apps on two computers and using six new apps for tablets: Photoshop Touch, Collage, Debut, Ideas, Kuler and Proto. There will also be access to web services such as Business Catalyst, Typekit and Digital Publishing Suite, along with 20 Gb of storage which will be used to synchronize contents between the desktop and mobile computers.
One innovative feature is the pricing scheme, which has substantial differences in what we already knew: the cost of monthly subscription will be $49.99 for those who choose an annual contract, against the thousands of dollars that the Creative Suite 5.5 can cost, even when in the long term it can be more convenient to buy a software instead to subscribe to a service.

Time will tell if this move gave result, but what is certain is that Adobe also take advantage of the “cloud” popularity to generate new business models based on it.
